Our Church

The Way Station Christian Fellowship is a group of Jesus followers who are seeking to worship God the way He desires to be worshipped, in spirit and in truth. To that end:

  • We believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.
  • We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.
  • We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshipped.
  • We believe worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him.

Our purpose is to bring glory to God in every part of our lives. We see this being fulfilled in three ways:

  • up

    LOOKING UP -

We look to God and we desire our relationship with Him to take the highest priority in our lives. We desire to be empowered by His Spirit as we look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

  • with-in

    LOOKING WITHIN -

Our church is a spiritual family and as such we desire to help one another grow in Christ as we move towards spiritual maturity. We desire to love one another, pray for one another, and bear one anotherʼs burdens as we do life together. We use the Bible as our training manual and guide for living in order to help us reach maturity.

  • around

    LOOKING AROUND -

We believe that God has placed each one of us within a unique sphere of influence and wants us to reach out to those people He has placed in our lives with His love. We desire to share the awesome news of Jesusʼ death, burial, and resurrection that allows us to be reconciled to God.

The Way Station is in the process of applying for affiliation with the Calvary Chapel network of fellowships. This means different things to different people. Some might say, “Great! I have enjoyed my times of worship at Calvary Chapels.” Some might say, “I have had nothing but bad experiences at Calvary Chapels.” And some might say, “What in the world is a Calvary Chapel?”

Whatever your past experience we would like you to know that no Calvary Chapel is exactly like any other. The Calvary Chapel network of fellowships are simply churches that hold to the same basic set of beliefs and how each one does ministry is unique to that church. So, we invite you to come check out one of our services, hang around, get to know us and see if this is a place you can call home.
